Originally from Greenville, N.C., Sophie graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill with a B.A. in Media and Journalism. During her time as a Tar Heel, Sophie served as a reporter and producer for Carolina Connection, UNC-Chapel Hill鈥檚 radio program. She currently is heavily involved in science education at Morehead Planetarium and Science Center.
