Your Everyday Life In A Comic Strip

Superheroes are not the only characters to grace the pages of comic books. invites ordinary people to tell their own stories in cartoon squares. Started by Amy Godfrey, a librarian at , the project seeks to illuminate the small and big moments that make a community. 

Host Frank Stasio talks with Godfrey, artist and animator , and Durham Comics Project regular Hope Wilder.

Longtime NPR correspondent Frank Stasio was named permanent host of The State of Things in June 2006. A native of Buffalo, Frank has been in radio since the age of 19. He began his public radio career at WOI in Ames, Iowa, where he was a magazine show anchor and the station's News Director.
