Grammy award winning singer is called the 鈥渋nternational voice of jazz.鈥� And along with bassist and composer she is changing the sound of Christmas. The two have put out a collaboration called, 鈥淐hristmas.鈥� They鈥檒l be performing at the Carolina Theatre on December 21st. Host Frank Stasio talks to them about their collaboration.

Longtime NPR correspondent Frank Stasio was named permanent host of The State of Things in June 2006. A native of Buffalo, Frank has been in radio since the age of 19. He began his public radio career at WOI in Ames, Iowa, where he was a magazine show anchor and the station's News Director.
