North Carolina Governor Roy Cooper is in campaign mode. And although he’s not on the ballot this fall, the upcoming mid-term election will go a long way toward defining his political life – and that of the state itself – over the next two years. Cooper spoke with ¼ª²ÊÍøÍøվ’s Rusty Jacobs earlier this week about the upcoming mid-terms and its importance in the debate over abortion.

Rusty Jacobs is ¼ª²ÊÍøÍøÕ¾'s Voting and Election Integrity Reporter.
Dave DeWitt is ¼ª²ÊÍøÍøÕ¾'s Supervising Editor for Politics and Education. As an editor, reporter, and producer he's covered politics, environment, education, sports, and a wide range of other topics.
