Joe Troop

Joe Troop is the lone North Carolinian in the Grammy nominated band .  Like just about everyone else, Joe is staying at home during the pandemic which has taken a heavy toll on musicians who can no longer play in front of live audiences. That's a serious blow to their livelihood.

But that doesn't mean Joe has stopped making music.  He has just released a song called "A Plea To The U.S. Government To Fully Fund the Postal Service."  He's on a mission to make sure the postal service doesn't just survive, but thrives.

Eric Hodge hosts ¼ª²ÊÍøÍøվ’s broadcast of Morning Edition, and files reports for the North Carolina news segments of the broadcast. He started at the station in 2004 doing fill-in work on weekends and All Things Considered.
